Information TILE keeps on your device

TILE does not require an account. Your name, chosen language, onboarding status, drawings, palettes, saved colors, folders, favorites, TILE HOP high score, and most preferences are stored locally on your device.

Photos you choose for Palette From Photo or a design background are processed by the app for that feature. TILE does not upload those photos to FootholdAI. A background photo may be copied into TILE's private app storage so the design can be reopened and exported later.

Advertising and consent

The free version uses Google AdMob to show interstitial ads at selected completion or export moments and an optional rewarded ad for a TILE HOP revive. Google and its partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, advertising data, diagnostics, performance data, and interactions with ads.

Where required, TILE asks for advertising consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting ads. You can revisit available consent choices from TILE's Settings screen. Google's handling of data is described in its Privacy Policy and partner technologies notice.

No Ads subscription

TILE No Ads is an optional auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. FootholdAI does not receive your payment-card details. TILE receives and checks purchase and entitlement information needed to activate, restore, renew, or end the ad-free benefit. Apple's processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Exports and sharing

Designs remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them. When you use Apple's share sheet, the destination app or service you select receives the exported PNG or PDF under that service's own privacy terms.

Why information is processed

Information is processed to provide and remember your creative work, complete purchases, prevent fraud, maintain app reliability, comply with legal obligations, and—with consent where required—fund the free version through advertising. FootholdAI does not sell the drawings or photos you create or select in TILE.

Retention and deletion

Local data stays on your device until you delete the relevant design, palette, or folder, clear the app's data, or uninstall TILE. Deleting a folder does not delete the designs inside it. Advertising and purchase providers retain information according to their own policies and legal requirements. You can remove local TILE data by deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Use TILE's Settings screen for available advertising privacy choices, Apple's settings to manage subscriptions, or contact us for help. We may need enough information to verify and respond to a request, but TILE does not maintain user accounts that identify your locally stored designs.

Children

TILE is a general-audience creative app and is not designed or marketed specifically to children under 13. FootholdAI does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it.

Security and international processing

FootholdAI uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No system is completely secure. Google, Apple, and their service providers may process information in countries outside your own, subject to their stated safeguards and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when TILE's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required.
